    Migration from Microsoft Axapta 4.0 to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

    Approach: Rapid migration, full data migration, and data conversion

    Project Specifics: Basic currency exchange (EUR to RUB), change of inventory cost model (Average to FIFO), large DB size.

    Project Results:

    • Historical data converted and reconciled
    • Solved “Recld” problem
    • 4.5 month time from kick-off to go-live

  • AX 2009 to AX 2012

    Migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

    800+ CONCURRENT USERS

    Industry: Lead European perfume & cosmetics retail trade and distribution (900+ stores, $1.5 billion annual turnover, ranked top three worldwide)

    Functional Scope: Procurement, sales, master planning, inventory management, AP/AR. Fixed assets management, HRM, payroll, enterprise portal, project management, CRM, etc.

    Approach: Varied. Varied. Standard implementation for new modules and rapid migration for currently used modules along with full data migration

    Project Specifics: Additional implementation modules (AX4Retail an AXPos), several different time zones, large DB size.

    Project results:

    • New retail functionality implemented
    • System outage for less than 8 hours
    • 12 months time period from kick-off to go-live

    Approach: Varied. Standard implementation for new modules and rapid migration for currently used modules along with selective historical data transfer

    Project Specifics: There were several violations of data integrity, need for additional implementation modules (cash/bank, production), and AX companies splitting (from 1 to 3 legal entities).
